According to the RCMP, the 26-year-old woman from Strathmore, Alta., faces 12 charges including fraud, theft and false pretences.

The RCMP began investigating following a complaint that money was missing from the town of Kyle.

It was learned that about $18,000 was missing, the RCMP said.

) ?& j. p3 x/ O6 T, G0 _The woman is scheduled to be in provincial court in Swift Current, Sask., on July 25.

Police said they won't release her name until she makes her first court appearance.
