Microsoft announced earlier this month it had plans to locate in Greater Vancouver. : T- t8 f, j4 B& c" A4 I# w' p+ }! u! U
The company has now reached an agreement to lease about 80-thousand square feet in two buildings located in the Crestwood Corporate Centre. 3 x/ S# M P5 R) z# G2 H: X) q1 @7 e4 p, M D6 K
The city says its staff will now focus on working with Microsoft to ensure the new facility is in operation as soon as possible. % M: h4 g* p/ U. H1 r- c8 z8 \+ j m0 ]( a
Initially it will open with about 200 employees sometime in early fall
