JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.


. T+ j5 V2 R+ s, n! u
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

: p1 o$ d  H. T9 u" V+ q6 o' f2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

( \; T/ U3 N0 K: g4 y3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.
! e6 t3 ~. V' d0 B' D; B( f
8 o0 v, X( i( f/ L/ l5 m4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

' _% O. y1 j* w2 L; @, u2 H* ^5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
2 V7 ^( X4 [: V9 \0 s
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

+ d* e) S' M& H+ t% T+ t& g2) Cashier experience.

, E2 Y2 Q, ^; b3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
$ K4 v, {4 R0 b
/ T1 A) e. L+ X, C6 _6 y. F  p4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
