• provide opportunities for staff development and growth

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

7 ]$ O: p6 R j) G4 _9 Y( `• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• identify community and user needs and trends7 H: C. w% \- Y4 j0 M" l
• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends& c( i' R: ^3 B+ T
• conduct program evaluation/survey/research

• delivery of program or activity to participants as required6 h- e6 T& |0 g! ?& l# V
• build on knowledge of community resources in program development

3 g3 j. B( v* I' u• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities
8 c: J2 m/ O7 w+ {+ J• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders

• identify community needs and trends: _0 Y5 p @5 E" K8 \3 q- h3 Y/ V( L! k- ^
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
: v8 O0 F9 T: c6 I• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups* w& i( p1 W* E1 @
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.
$ q1 S1 ^; C& n7 S& \& y9 L• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

Qualifications. b9 ~' E+ H( d2 a% p
- University degree in a related field;
& F0 r/ I0 Q/ v- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
$ {/ p0 \3 {: Q8 q0 n' U+ r3 u6 ]- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
3 V) J: M9 ^. j/ k; ~- d- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization / d4 b6 d, K0 L( p {2 H' R
% Q X# e8 O. O" h2 v( R& RSalary# V1 B* s/ u+ x# k W( N
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
