Staff

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities
, Y. O1 S! ?( Y0 n• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders& \0 T: t% T- W% ?

• identify community and user needs and trends
. v# a; `( O$ D a7 j& `, S• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends, f0 F1 {* p' z
• conduct program evaluation/survey/research! a; e! n8 a* t* z! M6 d* b }& r* p0 s0 x
• maintenance of appropriate reporting

! u# |4 K/ E \. @7 W. l% D• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities
( d% }7 z4 [ S• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders
# m. {; {* J* Z: y% p• communicate the value of the organization to the public0 F$ G( _. g# B( m: g$ |$ l- ?
• identify community needs and trends& `1 D" N1 \. ]
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups: w# I! X( ~( N) B4 n5 h
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups* c. W' b# U( ?* C
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.
: B( E/ z8 `$ v2 C) {& T/ L& B y2 f• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

Qualifications
- M, E" V7 U" v$ r# a8 p! a+ a- University degree in a related field; $ l J- E# \: s9 _
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
4 p9 Q1 X" x. `* u; X, A+ `% M! X- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
) |% n0 O* t+ T) @, D" z- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization

Salary
- y5 c, e# F: r2 o- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits . \- B! a7 {: K8 v& c
