• build and maintain collegial and strong working relationships with staff

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities
' v6 h9 `/ G4 d6 M% q• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

' d/ q9 ^0 _4 {3 ~5 h• identify community and user needs and trends
! r8 D m' \( c/ g n* c: m• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends+ r- H5 d- b4 W3 {/ I
• conduct program evaluation/survey/research8 t! n: R% i( ]4 K# U" r+ {
• maintenance of appropriate reporting

• build on knowledge of community resources in program development

7 l0 H1 O& |: \. p6 i2 @• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• communicate the value of the organization to the public5 J5 N- P% Z) h" F3 ^
• identify community needs and trends5 i& |% G& s6 Q8 t" d0 X- W
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
% ~( o! E& ~: l: P+ i: j! S• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups' v1 q5 l- }5 J9 n' c
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

& g0 A0 x& D, m- University degree in a related field;
- ]- d: S' c: l8 I$ |$ k! ]- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
# \7 d+ M9 T2 \- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; 4 M( h# r! H: {; Y- W
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization

4 v4 c, F" a) U: l8 M! V- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits # v, R$ V! s1 y/ e) f/ Q
