• provide leadership to staff and volunteers

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities
; v/ N0 Q3 Q8 m) z z: f# [• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

External Relations
8 ^; w$ y/ f* ], R0 w) B• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• communicate the value of the organization to the public: Y3 ~0 w7 u/ B# ?! F c- k- G
• identify community needs and trends
) X. Q0 }' M: H# k( w! `' I• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
0 V ^( U5 t4 {; o' C( Z• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups2 J0 d2 s& _: [- I- @
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

Qualifications
5 k3 R1 g I5 y- University degree in a related field; 6 v3 Y! ]+ F) w- ]: f4 x! d
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;" K% B# U. }5 v# @
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
" f6 J8 H* V8 w5 P; z- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 8 c2 o+ H; s1 Q

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
