The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University1 G- \: z& I/ D) X- N3 G
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
7 a4 i9 @8 k3 ]8 E, d c/ F" p eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese) c* [* Q0 |& P/ G, d V
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
( z& l" y0 e7 O6 p. J- d- ?0 F0 | customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
; U/ n( Z" W- K' i R. q# B) p this broad land.- P& c+ D4 c0 D4 i
# ]- `) P6 k% E/ K aWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
% c Y5 \, T- `* v% R' S6 ~ contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
* m# `4 ~7 y O0 u1 C talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in8 d- K' W: m' \& ]( p
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
+ [( @2 U! Z! Z' O, c' a0 R1 o. m ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in1 I! C$ o) L! t/ d( h& H9 n
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a

1 f7 i J1 t2 d3 S7 W% [ sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),; w4 _! K, V1 x1 ~; V' M
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any5 N% Q E! ^& ~7 H$ o
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your& o9 g3 Q6 C% z" S; `% }
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
1 P1 e l9 S6 T. h# ^ N5 @ comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since" k3 [& A7 z% E* Y$ v9 t
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.6 c3 H% H% g5 U- m
0 y$ S, ?0 y# i' k6 k( K/ lMeanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also- M0 V5 z: `* M7 I/ L* s
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
