K2 N- Z' Y, R3 `$ uAs the Corporate Financial Co-ordinator within the Corporate Accounting and Reporting office of the Finance Branch, you will lead the year-end reporting functions within the City as well as the operating fund corporate accounting, and guide the development of related policy, procedures, and strategies. · Coordinating the completion of the annual consolidated financial statements, the Provincial municipal information return, and other financial reporting for audit.

) r7 s9 M' Z7 K7 M7 s& m· Providing advice within the organization and to related Boards and Authorities on options for resolution of financial and reporting issues.

+ C; z/ M" ` j1 t% C" S6 v· University Degree majoring in accounting or finance, and a Professional Accounting Designation.

( B6 k! o% T3 o0 j& ]( v# g· A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in the financial accounting and reporting field.

· Experience in preparing complex, consolidated financial statements for audit.

· A thorough knowledge of municipal accounting and reporting practices and standards.

HOURS OF WORK:
