烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)8 a( ?' h$ C6 B d* T/ j) }
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)" A$ d+ _& o' h
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder " A3 _( _$ F$ V" p3 M3 L- Y
• 4 eggs, well beaten) Z3 q5 }- D8 o; Z: i) U9 L- O

PREPARATION:9 V, U& K6 n$ z: p
Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
3 H- h1 X( r% {* d- bTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. / _9 A: N- N- I7 d- v/ Z5 R. S
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.+ A! o9 j+ h# u/ A
3 T) q5 b7 l( Q6 k& X4 Q& w- F+ a这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
