ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of

$ D% D7 I* b  P7 y" i; b- jtechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
" x6 w) O9 |( j6 I/ dstrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
1 g( x5 g1 J; X) H( S) d# K: Q0 bobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
# Y: V: x) h" r1 b% H4 brelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
6 Z8 x, U: P0 M+ W( K: j2 A  xfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
) w0 @' a% C' q, Irequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
( Q, ~$ _5 L7 I7 q# icloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
" c4 }# @& K% u" Xover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
: X1 E# L: _0 t+ f( D  R  K3 P; fis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external

* |4 U# M5 p$ }/ u7 `salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
