Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Skills and Abilities Required
# t) A+ q" Q/ o. cExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.

( k6 F5 Z6 U6 {5 h+ C, P9 S2 @Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.
) L, i, ?" o; Z: k% A# N
Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

Ability to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.
