The Lunar New Year Firecracker Parade, hosted by the Chinatown and Little Italy Business Association, takes place on Saturday. - g# S% O2 ^+ r" w( O
- The festival kicks off at 11:30 a.m., with an opening ceremony outside the Pacific Rim Mall at 9700 105th. Ave. From 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., lion dancers, dragon dancers and traditional Chinese musicians will move north along 97th Street, visiting shops and restaurants throughout Chinatown, setting off firecrackers. / }5 N) b' {, L: H( W: c
