What activities will I do during my road test?

· how to do right and left turns legally and safely

· how to parallel park

and Driver Examination Regulation. They are monitored to ensure they provide high quality road

· Wear clothing that is practical for driving and comfort. It should be appropriate for the

The Examiner will do a vehicle check with you. You will be in the driver’s seat and the examiner will ask you to: `4 z% o, L" I/ i6 }+ P; v9 L0 b
assist in checking the signal and brake lights, horn, brakes, and steering. You will be asked to describe and& ?: C% C# h8 O* |
demonstrate two of the instruments or controls inside the vehicle, such as the hazard lights and windshield
) b4 @& H. \9 Q, Nwipers. The Examiner will provide information before you move the vehicle about the route and the instructions" I) e3 h5 R$ q, P
that you will be given during the test.

· Points will be assigned for errors. You will be allowed a maximum of 75 points to pass the road test.
% B- Y7 V0 I `You must not do anything that is considered unlawful, dangerous, or unsafe, (for example, speeding or not/ H c/ |* U' o# s s# q" l) g
stopping at a stop sign).

· The Examiner will not ask you to do anything illegal.

S6 o, X6 p8 {Test Permit. This will indicate that you have passed. Take this permit, along with your learner’s licence, to any
- c6 k$ f$ n3 U I6 Z8 }# |Alberta Registry Agent to have your licence changed to a Class 5 Probationary Licence. There will be a fee for this
