What activities will I do during my road test?

· how to do right and left turns legally and safely

· how to hill park (up or down)

Who is my Examiner?

· The Examiner will introduce him/herself and provide proof of identification, when requested.5 i+ d8 W' B' q3 c/ e- h
· All Driver Examiners are licensed by Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation under the Driver Training4 Q" \) v0 d& s0 p1 a) P$ b
and Driver Examination Regulation. They are monitored to ensure they provide high quality road
! K7 h% p. h3 U1 S, @, b6 dtests. They should be courteous and professional, keeping conversation at all times relevant to the

. x& o6 ?+ R# d) p) F% K0 F8 N! _$ p· You must have your Learner’s licence. If you have a temporary licence (non-photo)/ o7 w3 r7 R7 v0 M; u7 ?' F
then you must also provide acceptable photo ID.
% B' H Z) X2 n0 j· Wear clothing that is practical for driving and comfort. It should be appropriate for the: y/ d6 l$ c, h
weather conditions (in case your vehicle breaks down and you have to wait or walk)., H& X" A9 \6 ~$ m" ]9 l
· Your vehicle must meet all legal requirements (good mechanical condition, valid

· Payment for the test must be made directly to the Examiner or Registry office.

wipers. The Examiner will provide information before you move the vehicle about the route and the instructions

You must not do anything that is considered unlawful, dangerous, or unsafe, (for example, speeding or not* c' \8 \& b% g2 Q

· The Examiner will not try to trick you.

Test Permit. This will indicate that you have passed. Take this permit, along with your learner’s licence, to any
/ f# ?6 k* H7 k% X% l+ o+ OAlberta Registry Agent to have your licence changed to a Class 5 Probationary Licence. There will be a fee for this

What do I do if I do not pass my road test?
