Are you an immigrant woman who:
9 r- k  G. z8 x( C
-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
% c4 u' C' _( i# I. e) m5 r-  has taken an English language assessment test?
9 C" {  ]0 z! `# ?-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

If the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

* W; @0 B, B6 `6 S# S4 K4 xMAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
7 v. i+ A  e% M' `- vOpportunity to develop your English Language skills.
& U2 G( U9 r% |: q! XOpportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
/ d+ ~, H5 [- H/ b3 s! \* rInformation about community agencies and services.
# ?: E# S1 c0 M( x0 t9 j- z, KInformation about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.

这个培训班的确不错，我参加过，不过只能是移民妇女而且要会英语才能参加。华人社区服务中心有免费的求职培训班是给所有移民的，同样是英文授课，但有国语翻译，特别适合中国移民，欢迎致电429-3111报名。另外，为了方便那些无法白天参加培训的人，我们5月份开设为期两周的晚间课程，如果你白天晚上都无法参加，可以报名我们的周末求职讲座，查询请联络JANE。

没错，华人服务社区的讲座针对华人找工作更有帮助，毕竟我们都是相同背景。CHANGING TOGETHER只是针对移民妇女，全英文授课，不过我是因为CHANGING TOGETHER提供免费的DAYCARE才可以参加的。大家可以针对自己的情况，选择适合您的课程。祝愿在您的求职之路上，能够有所帮助。
