Duties
% m$ R, h0 U+ ]( }" g$ g6 {Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
! R$ {6 ~( \- w8 X! z( IProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
" v1 V: T  {/ q( ]# [Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
7 O8 j8 Q5 ?& I1 h2 [Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
! |: Y! w2 ~6 C/ O7 w+ Q6 UDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
/ ^2 B4 B6 J% q6 \1 wTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
