Duties
# c* Y: ]. s: ~# ^Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele

Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
, t! [: P1 D. B- rProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
- b: N0 H$ R/ W# O wWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff* Q$ z, F( E d2 V9 ^+ f; V5 T
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
% w7 R5 ^# Z' Y- O, Y; U8 j- HDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
$ x* l- R% R8 ?1 s* E$ \, RDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS. X4 @4 Z+ s2 b' Z% F- k
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases U4 Z6 m$ f/ o1 _7 Y- t

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
8 v j: u8 Y: D1 \) ]Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
+ g9 ]6 q7 W; v; s1 M8 E8 f HMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
$ W' Z: e) v; k" Q7 G' aExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
