Duties
* s. V, X( L' i: P* \: kWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
( Q/ a4 F/ N" tResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
1 U: O+ I6 N1 M0 y+ m+ D3 PWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
2 M# G/ r6 C9 V$ u! @Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
5 B5 e  q# J8 N. u& u* J4 pDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  _: w% D) c  q2 N4 I2 x8 xDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
: \8 Y* G) s+ [! Q/ n! lRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
4 u' a! L6 @+ a, OMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
' n( h$ F( ^/ r, C. A% W( B( [Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
: t8 N' u. {- U% j2 W8 AStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
/ i: F/ N3 e% R/ m+ p' Q4 P; d5 x7 zAbility to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
