Duties
% m$ R, h0 U+ ]( }" g$ g6 {Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele% O2 V# M; Q, {7 h' K
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management3 b( O7 ]5 D( G
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
! R$ {6 ~( \- w8 X! z( IProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
" v1 V: T {/ q( ]# [Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff3 U9 q) r" T0 W
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System

Qualifications
/ ^2 B4 B6 J% q6 \1 wTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program3 d& }, S1 S# w5 G
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) R, z+ }% k2 o! L. x- j- w5 i
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations) E3 z' ^) A# O" V4 s6 ^" C: N) z
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)% u: w! y' V8 I/ p' D/ F2 J) Z
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
