Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
* X& S) e: Q. y$ P4 t) VResponsible for specialization in workstation image management% L6 o8 ?( a) R) s9 |5 q
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers9 I( m! w6 j ~3 |# q K" e4 x
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
8 a( v0 ]6 O" W% Z- ]Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff f+ V$ } T3 o. A
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System

Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Qualifications
% y' K. r0 C( ~- x( nTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
0 u/ Z- U; P- WRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer u' Q1 Y' ?" z& h y% K" O' j
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
; K' h# y' t% U% ~Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)$ V4 O a. T5 W: }- e( m& K
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
