* Provides routine technical and administrative support for sample preparations and mineral separation for isotopic analysis
6 `5 N$ M5 k! _& m" V * Conducts mineral separation, sample imaging, grant mount preparation, sample weighing and iron exchange chromatography
3 y% }5 ~+ B. i1 y * Provides training to graduate students, visiting scientists on preparation techniques; S* ]+ d2 s* ~7 G' s
* Compiles analytical data using standard office software such as Excel, Word and Corel for use by the PI or client
. K* l$ Q ]6 m) U * Performs routine maintenance on equipment and lab husbandry! F. B6 a$ ^5 F, ?/ j2 S U
* Orders supplies, maintains lab records, maintain WHMIS records and compliance labeling, maintains lab inventory and safe disposal of chemicals

* Provides administrative support by maintaining records, (usage and expenses) and prepares invoices; n* b0 q5 l8 `) P+ }% @, A
* Assists with laser ablation analyses on the multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICPMS)
