Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

; K. H7 j% _- s- r; K" C5 YEDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.
+ Z: N/ Q8 I" v. V$ Z: j! o/ }Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
3 g) a+ C2 G+ a( F, A s, e9 QOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.! s1 }7 O7 y1 y
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
