Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.8 O5 q( v* Z* o0 h2 P, n# S- E( l
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
7 w9 G: F3 A% UOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.
$ k& D. l3 A7 r! R( hThe male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
