- B1 l$ M0 V6 T4 v& x  l    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program& D2 b1 T/ [7 t$ x6 J
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities: e. \5 b/ h7 U$ r7 s
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes, a/ z5 S% x/ n% T2 S1 e
    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
# |2 I# R/ Y! _, W    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders. H1 Z* m: o/ i: Y% Q
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
0 D6 N, O" p5 j9 ^" x$ ^1 V9 L    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
- Z) C# v# h# P# X% p- Q    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director1 s% h1 b9 R! Q) M/ a3 j1 c: T
    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning( C4 |5 @+ Q' Y% u
    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
' ]( m, t8 a% L4 I    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media. g4 |+ E8 Y6 H# H/ m
    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
4 ?% o3 p) _; ~& r5 z+ e4 O    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies8 I/ q* e/ Z3 t8 o' {  h2 I; ^

Qualifications
  i8 v0 y( O1 W, @
* q9 z- t* _0 ]9 V5 i5 Z% k    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
: l* m7 @4 G* ^8 H4 X& V    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth7 }' q. i. C3 ~: V# U
    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset( N' l) s( E1 x0 r
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies' ]4 T0 D: S8 a* g  R( s7 R0 g, U
    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills0 N& u+ m. \; I8 e6 }5 Y
    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
