Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2% o5 i8 c% ~7 D1 p& C( U! ?$ u
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

Major Responsibilities:
0 i7 t& p8 }$ R4 o3 Z/ b• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
. x- y" e; x8 v A; F4 \3 }• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.: W5 O+ k1 {. R& F6 ?5 T4 J
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
# P! d, Y5 A Q0 }% y! M) \• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.# K, k9 U+ [2 R9 B& ^, i* @
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.8 C$ B9 [/ e) ]" y9 x
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
( F1 x! y; E! ~4 O# x" ]• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.9 }* |9 m) }0 l% k2 H6 V; g, s
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
; R) T6 }2 N" q/ P) {* V/ ]• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.3 P6 J1 A' \6 q4 c
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.; e. @1 `) T" F4 j* g8 g
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.$ q* N+ U$ b- n7 |7 V* b( i
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.5 Y$ o% f4 \* }
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

; g' s7 O& ]" Z$ j, P. BQualifications:5 ]" \4 b& L' G, h
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
( q3 q [( ~. ~/ b' w• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
( S; I( b5 _: J9 Q1 c• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 2 P; b; U) \4 }6 B3 O8 b0 J
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. + z6 v; F9 R) f& |5 n$ J
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

# `% H, m7 Q5 p& m% D0 G# T• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other( Y7 c4 t, m) `8 j" p
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 0 E4 }5 L' {# r2 A- T% ]
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process." ]6 d ?+ S6 p* L1 w
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
