Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant* j1 i1 _7 a4 \8 ?! m8 D) @) r
Location:        Edmonton

% g, y# [. R9 T1 [- y1 T6 \Major Responsibilities: $ h3 }# G; c3 P- S0 u
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
8 x1 i" `4 I7 e•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
" m: j$ `5 Y, J$ u" n. _6 k: i1 a9 Y•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  8 d; o9 L# \7 G3 q
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
' u: d+ v; D+ m' X•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.! v1 C* H" M7 \8 `
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
9 S4 ^& e4 m  a; N3 ^0 C  C•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
/ C  w, ~5 G$ V$ w& D& A$ [9 D% O•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
6 K* O4 t% Y2 b! H7 G, d( I•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.! @0 |* l' [( a( m0 d
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
+ n4 Y. M# m% m7 X& l•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
# t) b5 h! T+ b. X•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
; M# ]3 H( x* H6 B0 K3 h) h/ O* z•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
: U) z! y( f: d9 D) Y. g' W•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
! s4 O! {9 @/ {& H+ K' v6 `( ]•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. : m" _7 F+ H! ]
