Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2, T, L6 I; Q9 b4 w: i

Reports to: National Sales Manager. V, K0 `9 Q7 x

1 j6 q! m5 m/ d/ F# r# fMajor Responsibilities:
" x% f4 d3 y5 v% d3 J% ?• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations./ [' [6 ^1 H( E+ i- v0 N, T
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.# e# k5 n5 ~6 o: q
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
! [0 M0 A) Y/ t- A• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
. Y9 l$ Q8 h9 q$ F# R$ i0 a3 l• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.: j0 o7 Q: L& Z/ C# @( r4 M
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.2 M3 R; z8 v! Y0 I( P! u# j* c
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas./ P; F! ?2 t5 \% F3 X
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
4 @1 P3 n. Z5 a* ?• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
3 @, g) T3 m- ^• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
. k7 Q. P! M0 T+ r% K• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
' B* W$ d. X W' |# e• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.- W6 K( H2 E' j
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:! ?% r0 r; l7 o3 k
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. ( D' `6 I2 T2 X5 Z
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 8 m& w( v, l, `: g$ |1 K4 K3 x) r
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. : P6 C2 F' e9 M9 R, `; A, [# T
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
, T6 ~2 f" p" o• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
0 q1 s$ }, t- l) k• Not scared of heights# W ]: ]# g' I9 e; j, A
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
# _ i; ^( V' J• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
+ t& ^$ _ g+ U u, \• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
