Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
7 u3 j, G  p  Q! K' B•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations., }8 Y+ q2 U. F% c( K
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.- s2 D7 u; C7 l$ {5 e2 |. M
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  % V, u4 E& v) p0 K7 r1 a! l
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office./ H) }4 _2 _2 z- i. b7 `& P; [! B( Y
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.! ?3 b. u: |/ b. a) m
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.9 O' y0 h- K; K" p, I" b6 w
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

+ K" }$ g3 e; g  }- ?# F•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
+ O) Z0 ~3 l5 C•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
5 @1 @1 {+ `8 [- ^/ R1 n•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 3 j/ P* ]% j' |+ F% p! O3 S
