Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant. k2 \* E7 ]. o& s% l( d+ |
Location:        Edmonton

Major Responsibilities:
1 k1 v4 V& _  K. H( B•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.9 }6 o+ e' l% N
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.: }! v% A3 }! f; N% a. O% P0 S
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  * ~/ U) ]! o4 v+ m+ {
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
  b# P' b. S% Z+ a5 v•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.5 b/ a* L. z1 ?- i6 e' r
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.* W# e3 w! z* x* s
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
' `. w( |% m$ w5 o) f2 ]# K•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
5 ^" ]! Q& \- o/ w•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
- Q  t# ]7 {3 F•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.' i: X$ k  C3 M
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
& F* z# t; ]# V6 Q•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.4 H! u+ ?. Z9 {
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:. `" a5 S8 K; ]. l, p, N+ ?( C
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
2 g6 i! @& }( {/ i+ g•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. # L$ c  n5 n# e: d
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
$ g& E$ I& Y9 h$ Z•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ) P1 d9 ^, ]# B& n  N$ L
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential  A( \: g  l/ G* K6 a, P. J- ?
•        Not scared of heights# w( c9 k; Q% s* t, ^+ @& M$ A( I
•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
