% k' h! {. w; U6 O- Q# O( o7 HMajor Responsibilities:
n% g* y- G7 u! Q/ R% [" K• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
% }5 w. t) Q" D Q" \2 F0 K. o$ U" Y• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
; g# H2 R' z# X2 G- R• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
& @6 i$ E! ~$ h8 T5 K" D• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
1 `0 l+ z6 c# A7 i• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
& }& a2 k- v, g: H' [! f) g9 A: F• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.2 k( X4 R8 I/ K
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
+ K2 @; }% X. y; o2 @ |/ }& N• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
4 c+ j: g8 [2 U4 n• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
/ H% [9 T( s4 L. }. `8 @• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
4 `! t1 d+ A7 z5 ]% ^6 v9 p$ n. j& L• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
" }3 y$ _4 g5 k; W9 v9 z9 ]2 Q6 b• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.$ k; X4 z( u1 e! W+ F
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required., n3 w, J6 u' M. p/ e5 C

Qualifications:- u8 R1 M8 o9 `- [
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
# r( Y+ _6 v. c: v! E' N7 F1 p• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 3 {* W$ O1 `# Z7 P0 B
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 9 ^& G% B8 }4 L1 s- n( L: z
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
/ n1 _& Q4 U: E+ b) T1 z% @8 N• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential; h3 ]% u# x0 S* L ^4 o3 Q9 V
• Not scared of heights. z- S' O4 _+ ~( x" [0 M8 p
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other# j/ ?" } y% e7 U) \ l
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ) p7 K6 Y. R6 D* Y: c* h X5 }( i
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.4 L' f$ ~ ^8 U; }
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
