Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant! ^/ }) @8 C7 Z6 y7 n* ^* M
Location:        Edmonton

$ Q1 [; @& G& h  P9 p8 ]Major Responsibilities:
6 z4 n" U/ ~. G2 j( o•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.  k& g' D# L* o* B' z* T  Q6 m
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 ?7 v. f3 j" P2 T
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
& x  Z4 ~8 c+ H3 o! B•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
4 e. V$ g0 t6 g& @•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
& b# _, U. u& ~* ?# N9 P5 p•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
/ t% q5 d! d1 j* b7 h' i•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.! y) }: C9 G& v! u! `
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning., l, r9 a! w& F
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
  `9 u2 y7 ]+ {6 `•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.2 N3 F+ _) `2 r) h5 |
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

  u$ s4 A* T0 d# p8 k% q$ p•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. # L% i0 c; i" I! f( y0 ?
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 3 d* |0 Q" U; u) [2 e& }5 P
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
/ n* i7 M, G) z0 {& n9 {8 B•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. $ ~8 S- k9 ~6 i. \, y+ o
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential( k6 \, ^) F- d2 x( g  n' a# Z# `
