Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

6 w: I9 @: t0 r/ b6 n, ^•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
( Z. |5 |+ [" z, ]+ R: w6 ?•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
0 z) W1 @# j4 t7 N$ P  S•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
- c* H2 l2 Z) `( h3 i6 a•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
5 f0 g  h! X, h# b•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

) @) o! R+ ]( y- k  @' ]! y•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
  o+ x& N: b' C•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
