Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
' X) }+ d1 J* E  R& _$ z+ W•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
, f1 P1 A( o3 ?+ V•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
' {, I6 [; I( F) D•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
, E0 m& P7 T2 {4 j•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
5 {* p7 @( B* c- `, j•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
! ^  S1 ^- b5 e( N( {# N* e7 |•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
8 J8 T) s' y; ?; r4 P•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
3 X4 C/ V+ z) P8 d- u+ F) S9 ~3 z•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
3 ?# o! w; v: b•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
% Y$ a  B; j2 W. _/ r: N•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
' B) y2 f, I- Z& q( h•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
