Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

. U. k- r$ i  ~0 Q1 }0 WJob Description – Responsibilities
, Z: V( M- s- P•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
- g/ w6 B# C* N•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
4 y5 r. Q8 B& g4 i! `•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
' b; S+ H- j. b! W$ @! N% I9 j•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
: v. X& o; C# o5 `' B" @; r' M•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
* F9 p. G: l5 L  A  t% E4 N7 S  U•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
. g, t  h0 |) T/ b•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
( s* K8 I. b9 G' J3 e7 L•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
% k5 t3 z! o/ W" b( p•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
0 P+ ?: U# ^! o; ?( x•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
