Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
% s8 F& Y$ q+ d" y. }•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
6 x  }, w& O2 ~+ }5 g•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
- Q( _) l$ H8 d' [+ e•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
6 X; |  u6 o! E0 M! O4 A•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
* I: p% g" Q0 }# [•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
( |; ~# y' U  p% W; O. E•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
) ~* M5 s* N" D•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
  i: x5 B- Q  k$ u•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
; a: B( ]- l- M( ]9 S5 k•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
