Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
5 F% N& s- J5 N. j•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
" t/ A# \; q# B•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
  y2 B4 T" k- S1 c/ u6 x•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
" X6 l5 a7 G# ?1 J•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
9 q. F1 K' [& N- a•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
% T" G2 W& {8 A9 `•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
( a. n! h8 b0 D' v•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
$ I/ }+ A6 W! [5 B1 r  `% t•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
