Full time position (35 hours each week)

3 E# m* S( F/ V  |Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
1 H6 C! s" a# ]) f6 }2 \/ w•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
9 ~' Z; {1 O- A  Q# y" h& l& i0 e0 b•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
9 }- ]6 b; u0 y* ]  R3 p7 h5 @% Q4 V•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
& ]. T- m8 e0 A4 ?•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
, ^4 n! S  O( e6 }% l) X•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
/ v" z1 ]$ w+ M•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
! N' {7 j$ q4 h# o6 U0 D/ U•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
7 u. N9 ?. ~  T1 O/ p•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
: u5 f' r6 G. R! _( q+ {0 \•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
