The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
7 A" x" `! V+ E( n7 ^: U•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

Requirements:
  x) ?) y7 y9 A2 I2 m0 Z% @/ J•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
7 g3 o% \! _  K8 S•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
9 R0 x6 B8 Y6 ]: b) e( s•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
+ J, K7 Z7 e8 e3 U! z•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
8 l# a( t5 B; }$ H•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
