Diesel Car Can't star up again!

Diesel car is really hard to start in cold winter.

* H. z1 B; E# L4 j8 L- T3 X$ MI have a 06 disel TDI, cound not start again this morning becuase there is no plug in on parking lot.


Last time when temp dropped to -30, it was dead also.


  l" L( F" R6 ?; p0 o3 N8 eI just wondering do many Chinese drive a TDI in Edmonton? I personally don't like a car need a lots of attention.

My Mercedes always start no matter the temp is. Might due to I use syn mobile 1 oil?

because you still have summer diesel in your tank,  summer diesel will gel up at  -12.

you should leave this car in shop overnight, let it warm up,  add in some diesel anti-gel addtives and fill up with winter diesel

This car was from Vancouver, maybe it is becuase of the fuel.

With Plug-in, easy one strike start, but without warming up, needs 5-7 times try.

0 h, d# A2 o2 n& Z, j  ^I do follow the manual saying to the position 3, wait until the icon gone, still needs 3-6 times try in cold weather.

This TDI shows more concerns than the hard to start in winter.

when temp drops below -20, the shocks all around squeeze!

It is anoying and the VW says they can do nothing on this.

I am very disspointed with VW, last time I had a jetta city 2007 only 10,000km, the engine shakes like hell, and sent the car the VW, they say:"it is normal!" I don't think so then becuase a gas engine car should not behave like that, stering wheel is jumping (no exagerating)

again, dont put gasoline rules on diesel, they are different

冷油，比汽油车热的都要慢不少。
8 H8 b; K% L  H: ^点车的时候，当然不容易啦。最好还是插电。

我开道奇的柴油车，冬天打火是费尽，除了柴油本身的原因，
+ U7 \' o: P6 ~# I: a+ L我觉得车上的报警系统很费电，连续3天不开，估计就打不着了。

除了插电，还要把车头摆好，准备早上 借个火。
