4 p/ _9 K# l/ LAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. : C3 t% M/ ?3 z" s5 s" |
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
" T% O0 X/ J/ [6 t. q. aConvert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
1 Y( N* v8 y9 I8 ZCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information. 9 A6 J8 ?$ b9 Y5 ^
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
) b7 }$ W8 u* o5 t; mAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. ' c! d' U* S/ q3 A0 M# M0 L6 X
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. 1 L$ M- {$ {0 Y, @. r' b# O1 _# a
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. 7 E7 i$ m S( a
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. + p- ^1 E8 d, A# n
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
: V( J8 ^4 ?3 t8 A+ EResponsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
9 R0 w; G& `: |% r+ P" S- d; d* } Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset( b1 a) S: ^% \+ @9 _; i
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.6 T5 T1 S @. c$ N) x I
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
* Y+ X; e9 `$ I% v) k" q F• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
