Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
. s$ \' b. ]# O# k9 [2 l- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
# ~( O- x/ t& t( t$ H% t- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
" c' Y8 A2 ~4 M- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

! T  Y' ]) o2 B2 }Qualifications:
* h/ w9 m3 B9 f
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
( A/ \0 Z/ C+ W3 @6 Y) a- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
+ A+ w! t3 ?  K) P7 @- communication skills
2 ?. }& R3 H7 D, \8 l1 P- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
9 m. D5 v7 Y0 ~' H& e- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
( N+ o1 P7 ^# G2 T4 ]- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
7 Q! T3 N7 j, R  c- d; _- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
