Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
' N. \& {5 ^6 RResponsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
0 p4 _6 ~2 `' V. |: P, o; k- Recruit children for summer program
( Z( @( ~* h" N2 v- Provide orientation for parents
6 X( V$ s: m8 ?& `- Find sponsors to enhance program
5 x3 d; R& x- @8 H( _0 z- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

% X5 ]+ {9 w  H% R4 Y  JQualifications:

/ z% j8 ^9 I, M% x0 U3 W9 A- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
3 }/ A9 Y9 e' k% E0 w3 S9 h: w- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
