Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
9 H, N$ S/ E0 d2 R- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
8 l1 W: Z8 P% f. U" A0 ]- Supervise volunteer(s)
$ \8 ^  U4 A; b3 K" j% \- Prepare final report for funding agency

2 }4 Q$ x, K* _
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
+ Z# b  |! B* O3 @- q. y- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
# P" {+ C- z1 _8 Y2 Q- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
8 v- x3 Y  q, q1 i" J1 y- good computer skills
. q0 i8 u/ q: f- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
