Responsibilities:
-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
        preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
: T: h; B' c8 e. g0 N-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program
        Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

, j$ D& F% u  k-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
' @6 E+ n& u0 _" d' J7 \' U        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
* N9 h( p& b. n" C) Q$ m-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
" s# c& E2 q- v% n; m8 F-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
4 \$ o2 |/ e6 P-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
/ h: W. o! B) f" P6 ]- `-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
