Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2009

Responsibilities:
0 X! v5 [$ m+ H; B( S1 A+ G- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the : [7 E( V* A1 k- ^* |) N7 I
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps" ^( v/ k4 |- t; N4 I
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
0 \0 d: G2 {$ W8 A; @ F w- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
8 }; F8 f% j5 x' F+ M- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program

Qualifications:5 n% o+ ~) t. h ~2 X( I" w
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
! z8 u8 Q3 O: g0 {% Y+ z1 I Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education( i2 `9 Z( @" P
- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children% S( f5 F9 Q0 g+ S% P
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills" q, c7 O* i5 c0 V2 g d1 {
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
/ M0 v. d; T3 z, G" e: W( M# n- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese! Z! F+ i5 [2 X; i# |9 p* j0 r4 b
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities

- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
