Responsibilities:
2 f6 M: ]1 }# H2 b- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the ! u/ W' ?) p( T7 I% x
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
/ o9 A0 ~. A$ |" K' ~- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
% D9 N% r3 A4 P% ~- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies. B/ ^8 o5 Y+ {5 n! u
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program
- x& N2 v* _- ^2 G# l( T* N Coordinator. z$ L2 T: \4 G4 A
- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

6 }, w- V+ }% DQualifications:
^ a$ q& Z7 c- e$ c- P0 H# A* t- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood , S4 i E2 W/ N" T8 H# i
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
% k* }7 l/ C, E- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children" ^4 F4 ], {' r, [+ G; c
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
! b0 Y' f; T& Y- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
) u1 X9 G1 y( { e/ @- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
: G6 X1 z$ y- k& |( |, Z+ L; F- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities

- Returning student (should return to school after summer)# ?' b/ U' O& k3 p
- Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
5 g4 U" P4 O' J( M5 a and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
: H* G0 f' x5 T" G4 ^$ T( n- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
