- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
! Y+ Z% {5 ~. j/ b' X3 e& k: t3 N provide services for Chinese community
5 c5 I8 D" H! A1 ^" p8 a$ R0 [- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
1 t. t: l, h6 r* o" Y- n. R access to mainstream services0 h5 F; H# m6 n' s* ]
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 6 S/ {* T9 f2 y2 Q5 Z8 Z* ?
social services3 F% p9 Z* t# ]2 r4 ~) N1 _8 a
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
( U/ K% Q' l: X0 a; \1 B* z- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
! m4 c& @; \) j0 I# @9 v- update ASSIST website* Y2 o; I# ^3 B. G% q$ D
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre6 B( I5 Z" \: H
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- update membership database

Qualifications$ v' k3 }! n! S5 c( s% G. V/ k
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
9 Y8 t3 {2 k# [& _5 k0 V experience and education . s* E; a; E, G; V1 N
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills% I Y2 Z) M2 K b: d2 F# E* }; ~! \
- experience in community work and immigrant services, s; a9 F5 w2 V
- experience in website update/design
$ n; E& R: [6 I% F- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset z/ Y h# s7 h' s
