Job Description

Responsibilities:

" y& i& Y' q% m3 B- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports: s5 l6 ^. u9 {$ c
- Recruit children for summer program
4 `3 y( P- g: Z- Provide orientation for parents
. U/ F6 L; C6 C: Z- U( W: g- Find sponsors to enhance program6 ` X- P& S# ^7 w
- Supervise volunteer(s)0 W1 }+ m! H+ A5 l" V, x2 M1 a
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
. S. b3 _4 a, v3 w
' ^: e8 }( i- Q/ ~# t* ]/ D- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education6 f* \! [3 F G
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills9 q+ q7 X2 Y/ s$ q- |7 s
- communication skills* A; A2 D) L' [2 c) W4 F7 }' g! N
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
w% n c' u" V# K6 f- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
5 [2 M, R" P# t7 S) Y' G+ K3 V3 r- good computer skills7 e8 k+ K! H( q( A H
- leadership abilities/ z# W2 Z% x$ G+ H
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
