Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

* T$ Q! W3 v* @3 o& M- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
/ ?' W  U0 s- j2 D. s- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
9 X4 K* s) i' j! B, F: }' ?  q, q- Prepare final report for funding agency

8 a8 y' i9 X6 P3 l; e, U2 L' q, O0 O
' S$ ^- Y9 r' \, f: ]- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
3 E4 A# {* @/ e- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
0 I, Z5 ?% I( E; Y- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
5 k) P) \9 q, c& z- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
" n" k) r7 |' U, T- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary
