Job Description
/ ?" Q! F1 A# B  B3 y6 XSummer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- h  j4 d! }/ j. s4 V- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
+ t# d4 K7 u$ u- Prepare final report for funding agency

% V' G' Q9 d' l! iQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
2 w3 F5 l0 _. p8 `; c- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- W: d  p% t) d4 M  g% l! M: |% A1 K- good computer skills
. I  I: ?: }. n- leadership abilities
9 k* Z6 V  N* L$ m1 k! j- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
