Housing Program Worker

7 W$ d4 ~5 w7 uKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
' E, F9 L& `! ~- y To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
0 d8 @/ ^+ W1 S4 f% B4 Q  _ To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
- ~  q6 c6 [1 Q To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
2 h4 @6 L# L) q) p  A To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
$ J: y. t  I; N$ F 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
+ i5 f( X! H8 J Current CPR and First Aid certifications
0 H7 d8 Z0 G) F: M& G# ^4 `! g Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
