Housing Program Worker' I' ~& \ M2 t! A* J
7 n' u: [" g& z" `Key Responsibilities:
/ k; N* H6 q8 @% D: u6 e& ?' w To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program. + o3 ~6 F, m _, u1 U+ N
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs% B) Y( J) k9 n3 S) d8 O1 `
 To help promote the program in the community.
" Y( s+ n! q, N To provide some evening and weekend program supports.( c3 k4 h6 Z, s* r; |9 S/ r5 E
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
: X4 e) i: {3 ^$ m& u, \# C$ [$ w! E To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
' O, Y; y* {& |6 b0 P To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.: ~9 R/ O5 o t4 }6 b
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

, X( x8 W5 L; a. } G- FQualifications: (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
5 c& ]& _1 y0 w% ^4 v* _& q 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work ' l! g) B' w! u# l+ s7 n
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations. w# z4 b# I# A, p
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.: h, V& }; N4 Z0 k8 p% ?0 ^
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications, t5 N) ]( }+ x# q2 f1 e, S1 t% g) b
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
