The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

; u: J, Q* |1 k/ u! ]This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

1 y9 b1 `) r) j" W4 S/ N( QJob Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
1 t L {$ S0 o: U$ ], r• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
/ `+ c, P8 Y2 i( z5 X3 p• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
/ L9 T4 X' Q! m, r& {• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
8 z h3 F7 {: N& B9 w; z- z• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery
9 h9 z6 E0 j: C! y• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program 0 }+ D6 \6 z. a! j% k' Y1 }
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
$ \4 B5 X+ T' K7 W3 ?• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
) \2 L# | @8 ^! h) Q8 f; A• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
, t+ D, m: B0 o4 Q r6 M• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
) O7 E% @! c7 @0 Z5 ?• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
" \* ]" d9 H% b• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

Administration
4 t- @9 p, _4 r; g0 {4 a" g• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
9 n' V. d8 q. L• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
# V4 X/ v; n1 ~+ W4 _8 _! T; N• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required3 Y4 l9 Q5 e0 Q$ p
6 n& h5 J& @) a6 n+ e# rQualifications:6 y( t; e4 K, U" G0 `$ ]: s+ O
* Q, d ]. M o& x7 t2 g t• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
+ \! N# y- \: ?6 e" R V• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities% U. l7 _; N' z' s9 ?2 G# a
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
+ x, j5 v. x8 T$ k5 Y• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations2 ~3 u' i1 z& a& \( i
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population3 f. f5 ]/ }# H
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
