The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department.  The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

, G2 v  d5 y' P9 EThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload.  The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

4 s2 ?* c. w" V+ ~" i, R, p) Q( cJob Duties/Responsibilities:: R2 Q, T8 x- F  A% {& `/ @
•        Human Resources Management& v9 ~4 \: X' z4 s3 Q# S5 i
•        Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
" y' N8 M  {7 [2 w7 P: x! q•        Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors 9 Z8 ^3 p$ m  N2 ]$ e0 [) q7 {: W
•        Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
( {: q' z+ u/ _2 J9 T  n' g•        Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet         requirements for delivery of services, q" V1 H9 \, @4 z8 B) z0 d/ Q, v! P
•        Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities9 O0 Z# L% K$ z0 q( M

( n% q* U- S7 O" X1 c! G8 L3 B•        Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program ) l0 w* n1 M# O. m
•        Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes  L# E1 ?" b7 L  z3 w
•        Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required& j9 y8 l9 W" n1 x
•        Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication# P3 `8 G+ `2 ?) _& w$ I3 `3 c* x
•        Review service action plans and support programs as requested
. S, G% _* J% Y$ m% M& F0 o•        Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
4 Y( u6 ^; G1 {3 S( j$ v•        Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program; S) d" t; f9 a
•        Implement service modification, as required  R% q& _& {& i' F
0 H% F# m2 a0 v5 i. y( [) K
Administration' R* V( a; w! d2 J9 T
•        Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director, Z0 s& `% [, G: z! F' r# }7 G
•        Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review; {: D" t0 W. M7 r
•        Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:% B1 S4 g9 }' ^: r" u

: @) t0 n! P' B' ?7 F9 k•        Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
4 q5 I) T5 G! P' q( P( o•        Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities( n) z3 ]) C1 l6 ^7 ?5 ?* U% p
•        Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience  b6 x. }! j8 T, m) J1 R
•        Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
, I% E) O0 B1 Q- c# _•        Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population& W4 M, _+ {: J
•        Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office1 a2 a. L: h# o9 |, z
•        Equivalences will be considered
