The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

; l# k8 Z! x2 N4 {# C7 R( S• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities 3 S6 y5 x1 Q0 w' M
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
( ]5 M# i- H9 E o• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
& A5 U, B# p' [; h4 D7 H3 h• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
6 ]" t7 R% N4 ~7 I3 x2 H$ F' [• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities6 u; J8 K4 r/ X' t

Program Delivery
9 n8 s2 k' I. \" |! ?/ X, _8 j• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program 7 S7 Z# o, @/ e3 T
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
2 `) g _" M# z: _ W7 _% S• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
* q- u; V9 Z7 G• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication8 H! H: ?- _" D
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
0 L7 w1 L6 O3 H* Z4 k• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department0 p5 p$ f0 X, M) x/ C! r1 ?, A
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program" i' P" n6 S1 E+ ?

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director, u3 d" p4 f- R3 g6 I' r6 x/ n
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review% @3 @$ B) i; L- M( H$ \3 H
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:, I9 R( B: B7 I1 |8 V6 O6 g
* ~+ d) w/ ]5 U2 ~
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
9 k' J2 m, d# Z• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities& ?- b; a) q1 k
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience3 g: i2 d1 z6 p/ v
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
