Housing Program Worker

$ Q5 f( h6 l& b6 W! Z0 d# XKey Responsibilities:
! A5 G& [/ S; g" M0 A To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
: `& L" C' U3 I' ~. ^ To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
# P1 `9 N+ P' Y; `- ~ To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
  r5 q0 }# {# k4 H7 b. J To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
3 X  q7 t* c* V% A! ~ To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

6 w9 K1 A9 @) [. V; ^Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
) |, f+ }- p) x0 G 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
" O. S5 d! u# M Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
6 _1 V* z7 n* `6 } Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
