Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
- I+ W6 d) R- {- ~% T5 f. d; x' d# E To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
; B9 ]: Y) S4 Z. [* d- S2 c To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
) l9 w  h2 [& D  `. W To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
! a  C8 J. J# Z8 o, b8 E0 } To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
+ F) I/ u; |; b2 W* C% z9 W/ m To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
, I5 [" t& Y) F. ~8 ` Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
" W( }1 g) \1 @3 G8 [9 q Current CPR and First Aid certifications
% k  C2 r- Y# r) T9 _  ? Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
