Housing Program Worker

4 n( S! Y! J) j6 bKey Responsibilities:
. w  j( Z# N+ v0 m0 `0 L$ c4 s To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
3 `( I$ i$ e% V5 [1 y2 Y+ W- O To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
0 _6 G: X# ]! ^) n8 m To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

& x+ e/ @8 b4 C- qQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
% Q" I" z/ B; m; @ Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
