Housing Program Worker

7 u. _8 V2 _+ O6 ~% v$ K( A  rKey Responsibilities:
9 h7 v3 j% |5 h/ G1 N To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
' m) ]1 l6 f2 }: [ To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
% D, F( X; R, j: ~) k; r0 s; Y To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
* F# P- a, l/ H' b" D2 B" {& b& v To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
& ~# `% G' {9 m& j" V To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
5 w- K% l2 p8 X. W6 R 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
* T/ l1 E, c: |' d' F8 ?: } Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
+ g! V; P# n2 u$ Y* s4 O Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
