Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

4 |5 Q7 @$ T. g; P% P% t! b2 d7 }3 _- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
4 s% v, s$ b: V* M5 q& H5 v2 x. v- Supervise volunteer(s)
# i2 @* H( t" u' }- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
  g9 [+ @2 y5 B3 `' F! q% K; H- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
0 O) U+ `/ d+ d0 i: `. I. n- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
