Candidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes.
/ f$ r2 [ S5 O; `& oMaintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software.
h$ B. d) V/ [3 M) h3 H# }Maintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter.
4 {1 Y& P) a8 ]' V: xWorking with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained. ' H+ i9 ~0 B3 g; \
Ensuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes. : M5 h4 k" Q" y, h' H
Help implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications. ! t) Q1 S, _: g$ p2 s9 W% j8 @
"MUST HAVE" SKILLS:
4 \% S+ H- }$ ^! cThorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux / g7 H$ y& W/ y$ w+ x
Strong IBM SAN configurations experience
8 t% a% z% q. }" BExperience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases. 2 W- M1 ?- I s) R1 y0 g, L2 T* k; X

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
