]3 s# g8 I8 j7 Y(10 week @ 35 hours a week contract. Must be returning to school)/ a' r5 v+ z! t

Key Responsibilities Include7 o# z7 s9 Z% Q
Activity Planning and Daily Activity! \$ \( n( l. U
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.4 b/ _' e+ g* T! K
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
5 S) f" ?% f! k0 q! J/ I) D, ^• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
U" `1 ~& j s. A: k• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
# H9 b/ Y4 f; ]7 \• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
* |3 s# O9 E/ K% C• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting) ~6 j1 i3 v# B" ], C* `% ^& [
• Experience with children
3 L8 f5 j* z( E% K1 v3 w0 z) h• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
9 F; ^& a1 W) [* W) E5 R# Y( }$ f• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
/ g# L, {" q6 D8 ^, n3 r# h- w1 `• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.! n* [) z5 x$ \( z6 h* a
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources! T _1 s9 ?/ C- J0 X3 Q0 U
• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
# M$ A! r/ L: W ^• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check + m. P8 Y, k0 }/ @
