) o! `4 h6 N  p- A/ M3 X% V, gBig Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

) h% m+ R4 V& u) ^9 ]4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff
' K2 q9 M4 e0 B6 U(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

/ m. i$ |( E/ B! `2 vKey Responsibilities Include:
+ H$ p4 {2 W7 q9 n0 o8 m8 o( rActivity Planning and Daily Activity
•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
- ^1 M( i4 R+ l& f/ n) L•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
5 ?! X/ Y: ~% g  g•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:
•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
$ d# _2 i2 c4 ]$ j) a1 u; i2 x•        Experience with children
•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.

( s$ _/ d9 [' y+ ^•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
