(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)2 ~& S, P& u8 D
" s1 Y2 \3 } r# E6 v& C( rKey Responsibilities Include:/ g0 O: [3 h0 }6 j
Activity Planning and Daily Activity
4 C+ s7 _- s4 m; ]2 }+ z" }2 g• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.; R* v# I6 g9 _! X- |+ I% D
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. 8 s j: h/ ]5 Z% |) o2 t/ [; x* h) s' [
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,

• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time./ e7 \/ {) V9 |9 o( {" `1 V
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:
1 ]$ |( b( x, x3 ?/ x& J• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting% y- j7 J: R' M& ]% F* R& \4 b
• Experience with children
) f9 r" ?4 L" y• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
' I8 z' J. k$ [% K' t) E. f• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.+ X. G( V @; v$ y4 n
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
% J1 g5 W5 P m% v' M4 y• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
7 f. M2 k' R: d7 v3 J$ W4 t• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check * ^/ b0 n" [% d/ z
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check - z- B+ y; D% R* q# j; D- Y0 Z& |4 y
