I surfed this website, it offers quite a few ,probably every kinds of orchids, for me , I only know the Phalaenopsis Orchid. How should I say, it is too complicated for the entry level orchid lovers.

  \5 i( |- f2 Y. s# k: KThere are many other orchid genera that are as easy as phalaenopsis and  only you move one step further  then you will realize many(not all) of them are actually a lot easier than many other plant families. Of course, interest always  precede a trial.

我查了很多资料了,但没有在ZONE3区能过冬的例子,都是ZONE5-6的,但我又最喜欢HIＢＩＲＤ　ＴＥＡ　ＲＯＳＥ．

You may wanna try the following easy genera:
& l, w- B: G; |1 c. VCattleya(including SLC, LC, BC, BLC hybrids),
Phrag.( a South American Lady slippers orchid genus),
9 s% R8 @# [% t  y+ v: NOncidium( dancing dolls orchid, you may see them for sale at Homedepot; the spraying yellow flower type is the easiest of this genus),
8 i- @5 o' P8 S9 N/ ~% Y* nDendrobium( common Asian genus).           OR

Join OSA and go to its monthly meeting where you will see a lot more different kind of orchids and meet many experienced hobbyists that are most happy to answer any questions you may have. They hold sales every month too.
