A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
) u3 u4 s% s4 J1 u- r" V• Arrange courier services for all departments
2 B$ Q& ^& h4 B• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers8 g) L; M3 d9 O* T' c

Administration
3 Y c% Y1 G$ F9 K% E• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail, m$ b) E' \2 ]. @7 [5 Y
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
* `0 X7 [- k& D" ~• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
3 B# h' |3 T/ y7 p• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
6 \5 Q( l; B- E# b• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments 2 s4 Y# n: V* `# m- j3 f* r) V4 h
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

Qualifications:

3 V; l3 S3 s; Z! e J! L9 `, ?* I• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
+ C6 q5 W, {, g4 Y/ W k; Y4 q• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.8 a! S2 {+ r& x9 N H0 m
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset8 a6 A4 F$ @# T/ r& b( s; z7 s
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 7 |! n3 E5 v% S" i3 t$ P# _
• Mindful of need for accuracy, detail and discretion( [$ y5 |1 K0 t# H( r) m9 K" K( b
