A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors" \ r' |1 e& q0 q) q; I9 [6 Z
• Answer multi line telephone system

! A$ X% Q |+ ^6 |5 ]• Arrange courier services for all departments
$ S/ W- M; A: ^• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

$ @! R" E h" x' l• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail2 \4 G/ _) _; m
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
: @4 y4 l; o2 M/ e+ A R0 e: v• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
* T* v: r. M5 A, R/ K: x• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration" ^ K i* o& u' l9 ]; f3 f
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers & C7 Y2 S) |0 j* q0 n
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution m$ V; g' K' V
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments
, ^% [/ n" m; i0 a8 T, {8 A• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training

Qualifications:% C. A: F x" \+ y
5 h2 _, v# ^& ^* l/ k• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures7 u. \0 @( L0 w5 `1 O7 r
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
% ]" }! f1 `2 B8 n2 ~* j$ h# ]• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset

• Strong customer-service skills
