7 C! d$ O' H% r* C+ Q1 ]Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer
1 E" e+ w7 g( \Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
0 H* k, F0 m( m# ^: h7 R8 EOversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
% q; o8 t- h8 M. \- {! v0 HUnpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
0 r/ i+ H$ p0 s; j1 @" `. cMaintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems
) E- s3 J. b& T$ k5 o+ Y9 oMay operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
