Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer % L9 z: v" T& ^' ]- l
Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
) W3 v8 y9 }/ t9 `1 POversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances ) m% x) c2 P4 y# p9 `& w
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods 1 |4 U/ l0 ^7 J$ a' y$ [
Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
