Job Description:

Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer
$ w# ?) M* Z0 T( @+ I/ K$ dAssemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
3 ^$ n$ k" c" a3 T) wOversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances
7 Z& d+ C" M: p7 z0 SInspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
2 Q  P! P# y  W/ eUnpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
( X" F+ ~! n9 K' G& }: }0 r, sMaintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems
May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

Completion of secondary school

With at least 6 months work experience in a related field
