0 x: B4 j) @1 i3 y5 ADetermine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer
, c$ e# O& ]7 X) }, M) Q7 OAssemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions : [# c ?# l( k0 h: ^
Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances % h+ U9 J# }7 a: B- U' S Z C5 l
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods ; f/ f5 U3 }( R$ \; X, G
Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
