Police Service Preparation Program

This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

+ f7 }8 Z6 x$ vStart date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

Entrance Criteria
You must be/have:
• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age

% u) \$ K: C  b• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted

• Citizenship documents: Permanent Resident Card or recent Canadian
