% H% G1 p  y* T% M! D6 E) f- ZTHE EDMONTON REGION IMMIGRANT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 24/4 MENTORSHIP PILOT PROGRAM:

This fall, the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will be launching a mentorship pilot program, where we aim to match skilled immigrants with mentors in their occupations.
Eligibility Criteria
All potential mentee candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
! b0 S" h7 T# P/ F' @% Q) Q% [* K6 `•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less
/ A* o" [9 M, z: O•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education
•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English
•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada
•No prior Canadian work experience in their field
•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less

•Have a job ready resume and have completed a job search workshop

The maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.  This works out to approximately one and a half hours per week.
