Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
# S! l  \3 W3 h4 W' C, i• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
/ \" f, ]0 Y: @: M• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

' A. T# L( F' `1 F+ ?• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
) m* ], Z: }! D( e7 x! e• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
- Q# l6 W4 K8 a4 N$ N) z5 E• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience
/ k! J' @; B) \5 \7 |• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
4 v2 i/ e1 M+ [* e+ m+ K) C- S• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
) r7 W3 C- h5 K2 u  D3 P• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
2 V) @% }! K% z. E' W4 l& F• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
