FUNCTIONS:

The Materials Management Section of the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to perform administrative duties and assist with the procurement of goods and services through various vendors.  Responsibilities include:5 X$ j7 a. l/ J

·         Providing purchasing and invoicing services, including creating, placing, expediting purchase orders and processing them for payment using SAP.- V' u$ u9 e8 ^; ^8 I

·         Coordinating the purchase and issue of service recognition items, member name tags, and business cards.

·         Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, filing, preparing and distributing agendas, mail services, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and coordinating the Manager’s meeting and schedule.

·         Verifying cash submitted and preparing bank deposit.

0 E9 H! a" j$ O( \* y·         Two years diversified word and information processing experience.
