M8 @) A: J. A: f% n1 n1 e$ P7 ~The Materials Management Section of the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to perform administrative duties and assist with the procurement of goods and services through various vendors. Responsibilities include:) I9 J7 i$ f4 q1 }( S! l& X/ R

· Providing purchasing and invoicing services, including creating, placing, expediting purchase orders and processing them for payment using SAP.2 y" ^' j# C; ?5 K) |8 f

· Reconciling monthly purchases on Corporate Procurement Cards. ~5 [2 `& n- f+ H+ S

· Coordinating the purchase and issue of service recognition items, member name tags, and business cards.; o7 M% L" ?; I" R

· Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, filing, preparing and distributing agendas, mail services, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and coordinating the Manager’s meeting and schedule.! v& H5 E2 z0 o. v) }

· Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade including business subjects related to word and information processing or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college, supplemented by training in microcomputer applications.

SALARY RANGE:

( w% Z4 N# E; z21M, Salary Grade: 006, $1,053.13 - $1,307.68 (Bi-Weekly), $27,486.82 - $34,130.38 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
