Responsibilities:
# \* _6 a: E# {1 e$ L. R" J- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
% |* E1 H- I3 t5 `: V; f$ H- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
v8 P; B/ C/ R. t3 n; w; v! M. i7 {- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
0 k& \7 `$ Y+ \- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs; c6 j9 \2 u) N. d$ h0 {* X
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health' l" s% v; O1 V* Z% b

Key Qualifications:# N }. L( i5 g4 H
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences" X7 [: _, R; p+ {6 E; H% i
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement4 ^7 {, L+ {/ C# S! m+ C5 V b) U
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
9 W# l a1 c0 B2 C3 O/ H* e5 ~- Experience doing program development) F% ~9 Q7 e9 N, w5 X
- Strong organizational and coordination skills; \' | \/ T* D% A% N4 S6 ^; b$ L5 ]
- Self-directed and able to take initiative
' `7 m, a: J( x# I) b6 @" ]1 I- [- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
