- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth0 s3 y! p# W+ h6 [! F. Z* B+ S
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
7 G! |; _/ x+ d, B# h- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups% ?- a' P* T q3 h
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
! y+ D3 F+ m, w( B+ d! B- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

) o* a2 V. v o' z, a8 ]Key Qualifications:
2 x" V, d4 X% d0 F1 B4 ^/ n4 f- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
9 |4 }# r4 Y0 ?+ c0 n2 p' Y6 d- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
" X! G& ~4 P* N- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others% X% m6 e2 M# I1 D7 v2 P w% R
- Experience doing program development
1 E4 ^/ u$ ~' x1 B; q8 ~- s8 X- Strong organizational and coordination skills3 f4 G% B4 |" q1 N
- Self-directed and able to take initiative" y; _" U6 Q4 J! w
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
* D& |+ p( }) o. P, B) E- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license
