how can I make my road test as cheap as possible?

hi! there:
1 F/ O% F; {. a9 N, N4 x$ MI am new comer here. currently I have class 7 driver license from other province.
8 b; X! g3 L- k% c! J/ ]. HI have had it since 1 year ago. right now I am wondering if I can apply for road test directly(class 5) without exchanging class 7 into local license.

if I want to attend road test, where is the cheapest place to go(including car renting)?

Another issue is for insurance, someone tell me that going to drive school will help reduce car insurance, is that true?
