If the brake warning light comes on when you apply the brakes, it means that hydraulic pressure has been lost due to a leak somewhere in the brake system./ z- f l7 ]! r8 u# t( f: h5 V
If the brake light stays on, that means the sensor is faulty.
I thought the question was about the ABS light on? Unless the brake warning light has anything to do with the ABS light.../ U' L- D! d8 {3 {) i
2 F. X& ~' D7 K4 JI am having the same problem with my car which I just discovered last night after I picked up my car from CDN Tire for the tire change. I sent it back to them for a checkup and they just called me that it was not caused by the tire change. (Note that both my ABS and Traction Control lights are on and I hear that clunking noise from the brake when starting my car). I will see what they find after they notified me that they'd charge me inspection fee.
