+ g/ c' z7 t. k" y/ a7 A* g, ^On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:8 T5 y1 J& k7 H4 E( N5 m. [) r/ \6 E

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut / y }" }9 V$ `) t @2 x
digging for and examining fossils 0 ^1 w. o. C, I, o- s" u, K
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth 2 {. _- `- U' m- f# x+ E4 ~
investigating insects ( m# I2 ^8 R' O& \# l

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.$ E& A2 U% v' s
) E t' p( W; ?+ u M2 L! oScience Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
