On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including: d3 q, F, j' M+ u7 ]* x+ `' @
9 K* g1 I5 b" y# q" ^9 xlearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
# H* D" c: ]4 V0 r, f- fdigging for and examining fossils
3 |/ x' c, ]) x' K* E9 q5 M8 rexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth 4 L7 B% m0 j( [& u% p
investigating insects

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
