On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:
/ X6 e6 K: l3 L) D9 q6 n4 t! v
2 C0 ]! o% G" B# H( _learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
`9 d' p/ P _digging for and examining fossils
- K" ^/ e- k! h# |+ I T' Oexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
5 o* p- |. X, yinvestigating insects
. k( J, L- K) Z9 {6 O/ yand much more!
/ y9 b; \/ Z" i8 o% @* f“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
