Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:) n2 w+ f: g+ c+ Z, W
After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.

When the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.. F8 A0 I. E4 w1 h/ E- X8 u! ]
Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either. e0 ^+ C* V; r& ?4 d
Confirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.

1 J/ o7 y" ?3 f, o2 LThe next thing we can think of is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.8 O o6 t, p, v- J/ ?
They have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again.9 W4 M2 g3 p; e! B3 x9 G! B$ j: c
It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working. $ h) Y, l% ^7 y& V

The coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them.
