Position Summary:
8 f  l9 G+ K. [0 ?  l# h! ~. OThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting./ d6 N5 c4 Z6 J' ?

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers  ]( x0 R- W: J7 ~
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution & J% Q  \  D, T3 [! V" ^$ K% x
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation0 ^- \5 z4 M5 o1 c) h* a! v
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times5 I1 ^% S2 Q; x. q3 X3 x' _5 k
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk! a0 w$ H) e: M1 T8 y% G9 L6 C  y
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert2 v: F9 Y1 S- t" ]
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties0 M7 c6 f6 s; ?* v4 y
§ Special projects as required

9 I" S1 @% p1 N( m! ?0 c§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience$ x& Y  j  u2 K7 O
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision9 r- {2 M% R; ^+ F3 K
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service
5 o1 l: ?# a) @; R3 [% z§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues( S; W8 \. f+ n/ J, K! f) `6 g, d( [
§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware
2 U: H/ N0 D; H4 K% E% ]& l+ P* {§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software
8 e, S6 B1 f. ^- V2 }§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

Position Summary:
7 b$ s* q- G2 |% u5 \* _The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). & W1 ]( \. |1 E( O

§ Manage a stable local IT environment 8 L' O4 t) F( i& E+ x' L
§ Manage and coach staff in IT group3 J- n( Y0 j& j
§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support( k( z2 L6 i7 A4 t. M0 @/ T% i
§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives+ n$ U) }; E5 D7 b
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports, b3 C6 }7 k5 o0 p3 t) O  ]" y
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
' m2 v2 t# d( }" T: f6 \§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to, {1 S8 q/ b: Q4 I; z. }. g1 Y& P
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
" |5 U- H, I8 e7 o§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
! J; ^, b+ v9 D§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures
( D+ a) f$ K& M: f8 i  @* w§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan* x: w6 D, T6 ^& r8 b
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk0 j6 \5 w# R$ l* D( G
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert
' o, v7 d6 C+ D( Y# \% L& P§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management" [' \" C; {3 G, d& H
§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance
8 t* o* R; y: j§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT0 X. |% a3 L6 f! w0 S) I" f; E
§ Coordinate and support end user training
. ^' E$ s) f) f9 H" k§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers
& ]) U7 j0 Z; _7 S- u§ Collaboration on development of internal intranet and external website maintenance

Qualifications:

呵呵,不是manager 就是administration.  N9 A+ m0 H2 N7 g, r( @8 j! l& n! q2 [
  T/ |, }) ]+ Y" }0 i/ n+ t! T
在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
