Around 2:25 p.m., Edmonton Fire Rescue received two 911 calls to 50th Street and 67th Avenue. One was reporting a fire, the other reporting that someone had been injured at the same location.( a$ [3 g7 V) n, x. m4 f
6 B h& X* i4 hFire rescue's Tim Wilson tells iNews880 there was a flash fire in a lab where the chemical Toluene is housed.8 r2 S% x" \1 @$ P# n, {* y

"The fire took place in a room at this facility that did have some sort of flammable products stored in there," says Wilson, "and somehow, this ignited and caused a fire."

"We had eight units on scene, with about 30 firefighters," he says. "The fire was out in just under 45 minutes, and was under control in 15."1 s6 c% f; i R* O$ v
