Primary Focus  
4 R, X& }! d1 p! ~4 i5 W Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards.

6 d5 P" {  C4 t. S" A/ }' aResponsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

/ ~8 a& C- s8 C  n. W# wResponsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects.  
; y1 W& k5 O% W: }4 Y Responsibilities

Electrical critical drawings are up to date and accurate

Achieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by:

Managing critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards,

) c) Q8 ^( |- O1 v6 \4 X1 d/ q$ z6 n6 lPerforming site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,

8 F: V6 L& a; G/ y* O" `( b+ fEngaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates,
) N& P( V& A; l! j. X
Developing and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

; x/ M& R* s2 c3 XPerforming quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers,

Applying design expertise with a goal towards continuous improvement.

Providing electrical design expertise to projects,

& R+ d# E0 u! Q* G+ s9 QLeading a group of staff and contract CADD personnel to review and/or prepare detailed drawings that are in compliance with the Enbridge Drawing Standards for assigned engineering and operations projects,

, k* u$ T+ ^( h5 E6 V* A2 h/ T: YIncorporating new technology and best practices with focus on solving business problems and operational requirements in a competitive environment.  
; J0 b6 n' ~! o, P  O Qualifications  
& s* c0 W0 f& k2 a4 x! T Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution.

10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.

. ^  Y5 [. Z! |5+ years AutoCAD experience.

$ M$ U9 Q& x7 l) {3 lRegistered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired.
8 T$ L0 m0 ~" K0 E* S
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.

Strong multi-tasking ability with well developed planning, organizing, coordinating and leadership skills.
