Position Overview:

[Employer] is currently seeking NDT Technician to support our Fort McMurray office.

Ultrasonic Technicians for Suncor Condition Bases Monitor Survey ( C.B.M.I. ) for Suncor Tailings

5 j3 e* K0 X! n0 v/ W- p& nTechnicians will take Ultrasonic Thickness measurement readings / working in accordance with C.G.S.B. UT level I

% X; c4 l( K2 @" I: {Responsibilities:

Operate Ultrasonic's equipment
5 y  R# W! C' }' HInterpretation of Ultrasonic's readings
( {; t2 p; E$ J/ p3 HPrepare Tailings lines for inspection based on the Extractions/Tailings Work/Procedure.
" ]7 [, I4 s( j' `% s# r, X8 LThis includes - mapping lines - in plant and Tailings
0 }) `# H4 R' v/ uStenciling testing locations
Clearing testing locations / dig clean
' N; f* v  W4 K* L9 pRequired Skills:
6 Q. o$ k) X$ W! A- S* h
Knowledge of entire Suncor tailings and Extractions Plants, and lines
# l) r1 W: O6 A# c' w0 t) \Ability to drive in tailings locations
' k; P% U" F( u/ ?$ I# `Knowledge of plant lines
Knowledge and conformity with both Suncor and Acuren safety procedures

This position is paid at an Hourly Rate based on the Collective Agreement.

Wages range from $20-$40/hr
