Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

! W" p1 j' }8 N4 a7 {. X6 xKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
/ B! E8 [7 l) O0 z, \/ @        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
. N7 S" a8 N+ e- [4 T8 B        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
4 \" u% o+ d( S6 v7 c) v        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
2 W2 m: J% S, z% d4 Q•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
0 Z: k: [; D" P•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
2 X$ F. K2 c# R8 s* d•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
0 P' [  U% `) Z' o; I: S: X•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
8 E( O7 J# W* ^7 V6 P- y•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
