3 {. s0 Z0 ]- q& J& k# XReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

. J1 E0 g+ G& `! d6 h" B$ {KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
/ ^# f8 n& }6 e0 ]6 t% e        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
' k! y+ m6 B: J1 ^$ {        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
6 d3 @4 O) w! U•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
0 ~4 \& a3 N  u( @( ?" f3 A6 {% x•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
) l0 R3 ]4 g) m; I) I; e* @/ e" J3 ]•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
5 ]) T2 V  g/ T( V•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
! t% E+ l1 h# G5 h0 y) M" h+ H•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
