Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

; n$ ^9 k' h8 ]% l# x# @KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- N3 f5 S6 [9 A, p) u; j        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
! Z4 K5 R) h3 c  U& M4 w$ I2 |        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
% E6 ]/ O& i3 M& W; z) d% }        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

, ~9 T  w8 ^) C- Z. G. RQUALIFICATIONS:
4 F& Q5 w/ p: a( E' {6 [•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
+ o( |' X+ m. r7 f) b•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
- ?  ?7 s; ]$ s  Q1 A9 `•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
7 L: V3 o$ {3 z' y! R. |( U•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
