4 f) X; _! `. ]9 v* }$ g2 r  }Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

7 R# g. F' _# B9 k% _: {6 ?- }KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
$ m& X. W1 ~2 {: ]        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
$ l+ C5 k( N! j! d- X        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
# v& ~, Z( [7 q# B8 a) i: |/ ^* L) O        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
* g& I/ ?% y; }7 \! N/ k•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
9 b3 j/ [" c8 J/ S! D•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
1 Q8 c% P1 [4 ?& q0 V  B•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
3 F' l2 T8 W5 a3 b" k•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
5 [! B) J$ Y& r  |- x•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
6 P4 C* e$ x5 S" N% }: x•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
9 ]( a1 H6 R1 r9 k# l•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
) }9 [* |" J$ W5 V0 M) X, a7 B2 D- |
