( P: {6 R4 _8 }: yReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
& B* J* d4 I& L' ^0 [# A        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
3 _: f' a, u, Z•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
0 \, @1 L1 m$ g+ x8 @, n0 I9 V•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
6 j% n# x7 p( P" u* s•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
8 c7 K+ A9 M4 o- W; H+ S3 `•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
