MECHANICAL DESIGNER(HVAC)

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

3 ?2 m5 o7 z! I. T3 UKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
) R/ l' b1 y) r! j! T- @8 z7 C        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
' a+ X5 X* @  a2 {: G        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

3 ]) l( v8 W0 m: [QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
: y& r) M' J3 y$ v8 g, P/ a•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
4 g% B, E. M* H. Z4 ?8 p& b! M•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
2 K$ t) ?& o% ~+ Q8 d+ C$ s' y1 q•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
* W& J0 c8 P; k: `4 X•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
